Job Description

Elevated is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and charismatic Assistant Retail Store Manager to join our Sidney team. This is a unique leadership opportunity for someone who thrives in an independent work environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the highest standards of compliance. Unlike many of our other locations, the Retail Store Manager is not based in Sidney , making this a highly independent position. The Assistant Manager is expected to confidently oversee daily store operations, lead the team, make sound business decisions, and ensure company policies and Montana state regulations are consistently followed in the absence of on-site management. Success in this role requires strong leadership, accountability, initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining open communication with the Retail Manager and District Manager. Candidates with experience in retail leadership, customer service, team development, or employee management will be most successful in this role. Responsibilities Assist in managing daily store operations in accordance with Elevated standards and Montana state regulations. Lead, train, motivate, and coach budtenders to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain compliance. Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven team culture. Ensure all staff consistently follow company policies, state regulations, and standard operating procedures. Maintain clear and effective communication between the store team, Retail Manager, District Manager, and back of house departments. Oversee the Inventory Specialist by monitoring inventory levels, completing reconciliations, and communicating inventory concerns promptly. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and procedures while ensuring they are communicated accurately to the team. Assist with implementing new operational initiatives and company programs. Ensure the store remains clean, organized, secure, and operating efficiently. Resolve customer concerns and employee issues professionally and effectively. Lead by example through professionalism, integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching every 90 days under the guidance of the Retail Manager. Perform sales transactions and assist with daily operational tasks as needed. Complete additional leadership responsibilities as assigned. Skills & Qualifications Previous retail leadership or management experience preferred. Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and confidently with minimal supervision. Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to receive feedback, adapt, and continuously improve. Professional, dependable, and people-oriented. Strong understanding of accountability, compliance, and operational excellence. Requirements Travel may be required up to 20% of the time. Successful completion of a 30-day training period. Ability to stand for extended periods (10+ hours). Reliable attendance and punctuality. Valid driver's license and dependable transportation. Degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, and capable of successfully leading a retail location with a high level of independence while maintaining close communication with leadership.
