Job Description

Overview We are seeking a loyal and dedicated Assistant General Manager to work directly with our General Manager to lead our amazing team with energy and enthusiasm. This key role involves daily hotel operations to covering front desk shifts, ensuring customer service is impeccable, assisting with operational inventory to include other operational projects and working side by side to ensure Brand standards are consistent. The ideal candidate will possess strong empowerment skills, be able to maneuver various tasks, computer savvy with a twist of management experience in the hotel industry. As an Assistant General Manager, you will be the driving force behind operational excellence and team development, inspiring staff to achieve their best while delivering outstanding results. Duties Opera Cloud and Opera Cloud are the dedicated front desk systems that is utilized for checking in and checking out guests. Oversee day-to-day operations by excelling customer service and satisfaction Room Maintenance Inspections and 12-Point Inspections Monitor inventory levels and control costs Maintain a clean and safe working environment Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods Implement and enforce company policies and procedures ProcurementLead and supervise all inventory control and staff management to ensure smooth operations. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets while maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Recruit, interview, train, and evaluate team members to foster a strong morale for customers for repeat business opportunities. Manage payroll time punches Implement consistency with standard operating procedures Requirements Proven experience in hospitality management supervisory responsibilities. Strong skills with employee orientation and training & development. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Familiarity with hospitality systems consisting of VisionLine and Opera Cloud Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple priorities such as merchandising, staffing schedules, and operational tasks. Demonstrated leadership qualities including team management, managerial communication skills, and operational oversight. Strong customer service orientation combined with phone etiquette skills for engaging with clients professionally.
Skill Set:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
  • Hyatt hotel experience preferred
  • Proven experience as a supervisory role
  • Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Time Management, computer skills, oganizational skills
Work Schedule :
  • Minimum of 40 hours minimum with 5 hours of overtime; based upon the hotel demand
  • 3 Holidays Annually
