Hybrid S enior Business Planning Manager This is your chance to join the rapidly growing commercial solar energy business. FlexRack is an integrated solar company that offers custom-designed, fixed tilt ground mount and single-axis solar tracking systems in the commercial and utility-scale solar mounting industries. FlexRack also offers full services, including engineering, geotechnical, pullout testing, field, and layout design services to address the actual site conditions of a project site. FlexRack has completed over 3.5 GW of solar racking installations in over 40 U.S. states, 9 Canadian provinces and across the globe. SUMMARY We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Planning Manager to oversee and execute financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to drive strategic decision-making and improve profitability. Key responsibilities include developing complex financial models, providing analytical support to senior leadership, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and improving financial processes through automation. This role requires strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor team members. This position reports to the Head of Business Support , FlexRack Division , or another management personnel that the CEO of the Company may designate. This position is located in Cleveland, OH and working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm local time. This position is expected to travel up to 20%. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Budgeting:
Lead the development of annual operating plans, budgets, long-term strategic plans, and financial projections.
Forecasting:
Oversee quarterly and mid-term forecasting, including cash flow and liquidity projections.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive analyses of financial performance, identify trends, and pinpoint key performance indicators (KPIs).
Reporting & Insights:
Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports and actionable insights to senior management and the board of directors to inform strategic decisions.
Strategic Support:
Provide financial expertise and analytical support to business units and cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives and manage financial risks.
Process Improvement:
Drive process improvements, implement best practices, and leverage financial management tools and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Financial Acumen:
Deep understanding of accounting and finance principles, financial modeling, and analysis.
Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to interpret complex financial data and derive actionable insights.
Strategic Thinking:
Capacity to develop financial strategies that align with company goals and support long-term growth.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex information clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
Leadership & Mentoring:
Proven ability to lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with financial planning software, reporting tools, and data analysis platforms.
R EQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role. Advanced knowledge of financial concepts, accounting principles, and corporate finance principles. Proven ability to develop complex financial models and perform sophisticated financial analysis to support decision-making. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. Experience working with enterprise financial systems (e.g., ERP, EPM) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
