Handle employee orientation, training & development initiatives, and performance evaluations. Conduct interviewing and recruiting processes to build a strong, capable team aligned with company standards. Oversee cashiering, POS transactions, cash handling, and bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support marketing efforts, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales. Maintain organizational standards for safety, cleanliness, and store presentation while managing shift schedules. Collaborate on purchasing decisions, budgeting, and inventory management to optimize store profitability. Ensure effective communication across all departments and maintain high levels of customer service excellence. Experience Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience within retail environments or grocery stores. Strong background in retail sales management, merchandising, inventory control, and cash handling. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in team management, training & development. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable. Familiarity with POS systems, purchasing procedures, payroll processing, and bookkeeping practices. Experience with retail math calculations including pricing strategies and sales analysis. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently with strong organizational skills. Prior experience in marketing initiatives, wireless sales (preferred), or grocery store operations is advantageous.
