Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
Oversee all property operations and department supervisors. Directly responsible for the performance of the front desk and housekeeping departments. Assist the General Manager in all aspects of running the hotel.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure the best possible lodging experience for each guest. 2. Responsible for the accounts payables within the hotel. This includes but is not limited to the accurate billing of all accounts and collecting of all payments. 3. Inspect rooms on a daily basis to ensure that the housekeeping department is meeting the quality levels set forth for the hotel. 4. Be involved in the interviewing, hiring, training, reprimanding and firing of all staff. 5. Supervise the workloads of employees during their shift. 6. Maintain control of all master keys. 7. Approve schedules for front desk and housekeeping departments and ensures proper staffing levels within the hotel. 8. Monitor payroll and make certain labor hours/dollars are in proper ration with the business demand level of the hotel. 9. Monitors the status of rooms and informs the general manager if any room is OOO for any unknown reason. Investigates all discrepant rooms and resolves the issues. 10. Reviews and completes the credit limit reports. 11. Reconciles cash deposits each day and enforces proper handling of all cash transactions. 12. Reconciles credit card processing each day and enforces proper handling of all credit card transactions. 13. Ensures that all departments are running efficiently and effectively. 14. Oversees and makes all decisions necessary for the smooth operation of the hotel in the absence of the general manager. 15. Uphold the hotel's commitment to hospitality. 16. Any other duties as assigned.Job Type:
