Responsibilities:
The Vice President, Technology & Data Solutions will serve as a key partner to business leaders across the organization, ensuring that Berkley Accident & Health's technology platforms, data capabilities, and reporting solutions effectively support our strategic objectives. This role combines technology leadership, vendor management, data strategy, business partnership, and operational oversight. The successful candidate will help align technology investments with business priorities while ensuring employees have the tools and information they need to be successful. This role will be based in our West Hartford, CT office. We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

Ensure employees have reliable technology tools, equipment, and support to perform their roles effectively. Support technology onboarding and operational processes for approximately 225 employees. Maintain a high level of service and responsiveness for internal technology support functions.
Qualifications:
What you need to have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent 15 + years of experience in management, implementation and execution of various IT projects. Strong IT and data infrastructure capabilities. Familiarity with David Young System/Connexure, Salesforce or other database management systems Able to work with the IT management staff, suppliers, developers and daily IT operations.
What makes you stand out:
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Experience within the insurance, or other related industries. Familiarity with managing large technology vendor relationships. Experience leading technology modernization and business process improvement initiatives.

    Base Salary Range:
    $200,000 - $225,000
    • Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus.
    • Eligible for long term incentive compensation

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
