Job Description
Hill Hospitality is seeking an experienced, motivated, and people focused General Manager to lead our Hampton Inn in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina . We are looking for a hospitality leader who takes pride in their property, enjoys developing a strong team, and understands how to balance exceptional guest service with strong operational and financial performance. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands on General Manager who enjoys being involved in all aspects of hotel operations and wants to be part of a growing hospitality company. What You'll Do As General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the hotel, including: Leading, coaching, and developing the hotel management team and associates Creating a positive culture focused on hospitality, accountability, and teamwork Maintaining Hampton by Hilton brand standards and delivering an exceptional guest experience Overseeing daily hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and breakfast Managing labor, expenses, forecasting, budgeting, and overall hotel profitability Reviewing revenue performance and working closely with sales and revenue management to maximize occupancy and ADR Recruiting, training, and retaining a strong team Maintaining high standards for cleanliness, property condition, and preventative maintenance Monitoring guest feedback and responding quickly to opportunities for improvement Ensuring compliance with company policies, brand requirements, and applicable regulations Building relationships within the Murrells Inlet community and helping identify opportunities to grow hotel business What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will have: Previous hotel management experience, preferably as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or senior department leader Hilton or Hampton experience strongly preferred Strong leadership and team building skills A solid understanding of hotel financials, budgeting, labor management, and revenue performance Excellent communication and organizational skills A guest first mentality with strong attention to detail The ability to hold a team accountable while maintaining a positive and supportive work environment A willingness to be visible, involved, and hands on throughout the property Compensation Annual salary: $70,000 to $77,000 , based on experience and qualifications.
