Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Lender who knows the Bastrop market and is ready to make an immediate impact. Depending on experience, this opportunity may be titled VP or SVP of Commercial Lending and offers the chance to become a highly visible banking presence in one of Central Texas' most dynamic markets.

Compensation:

$125,000-$150,000 base salary

DOE + EOY

bonus approx. equal to one month's salary + discretionary year-end profit sharing

What You'll Be Doing:

Build and expand commercial lending relationships throughout Bastrop and surrounding Central Texas

Generate new business through local relationships, community involvement, and market knowledge

Analyze financial statements, creditworthiness, loan structures, and terms

Make lending decisions within established authority and present larger opportunities to loan committee

Manage a commercial loan portfolio while maintaining sound credit quality

Serve as a trusted financial partner to existing and prospective clients

Represent the bank actively within the local business community What You'll Need to

Be Considered:

5-10 years of commercial lending experience

Live in or very near the Bastrop area with strong knowledge of the local market

Established local relationships and the ability to independently develop new business

Ag lending and/or Commercial Real Estate lending experience is a significant plus

Strong understanding of financial statements and credit fundamentals
