Job Description

We are looking to onboard a Grants Coordinator in Santa Barbara, California. The primary function of this role is to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of the grants administrative management process.
Responsibilities:
  • Assuring data integrity within the grants management database software and performing accurate data entry for letters of inquiry and applications.
  • Processing grant applications and securing any missing materials in a timely manner.
  • Keeping track of reports from grantees and collecting grant data on a regular basis.
  • Assisting with the formulation of grant agreements and generating grant notification letters.
  • Managing declinations and coordinating regular correspondence with potential grantees and others.
  • Acting as a main contact point for grant-related activities, including responding to e-mail inquiries and handling general inquiries from potential grantees.
  • Organizing conference calls, appointments, meetings, and site visits with internal and external participants.
  • Developing and maintaining appropriate grants management procedures, including due diligence procedures, grant reporting, award letters, grant agreements, and procedures to verify fund availability.
  • Collaborating with other internal teams, such as the Finance/Accounting, Programs, Research and Analytics, Information Technology, Development, and Communications departments.
  • Undertaking other duties as assigned
