BASIC FUNCTION

The School-To-Career Case Manager participates in the preparation, administration, and control of federal program projects and activities; create, manage, and maintain detailed participant files and program reports according to federal procedures and regulations using the Customer Information Services and Reporting System (CISRS). Overview of the

Role:

The School-to-Career Case Manager will work with students ages 14-22 who have disabilities. This is a 10 month, 8 hour position that requires flexibility and the ability to travel throughout the San Diego Unified School District (SDUSD). The main check-in location is on Polk Avenue, but the role includes regular travel to multiple school sites across the district. The Case Manager will primarily support programs: TPP (Transition Partnership Program), WorkAbility I, and/or Post Secondary Placements. VACANCY / POSITION SPECIFICS
Working Location:

WorkAbility and TPP Office located at 4063 Polk Avenue, San Diego, CA 92105

The main office space is located at Polk Avenue, but this position works at various District sites.

The District covers a large portion of San Diego County. District Area Map

Work Schedule:

10 months per year / 40 hours per week.

Salary:

Positions 20 hours per week or greater qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:

Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to graduation from a recognized college or university with a major in public or business administration, social sciences, or related field and one year of experience working in a large public agency in job development or training programs. Training in the Federal Employment and Training certification process and the Customer Information Services and Reporting System (CISRS) is preferred.
