Process reimbursement requests and review to ensure costs are allowable, allocable, and reasonable under applicable federal and state requirements. 8. Maintain accurate and complete records of grant activity, including contracts, procurement files, reimbursement documentation, compliance records, training enrollment, and participant data for accountability and audit purposes. 10. Maintain time and effort documentation and support the appropriate allocation of effort and costs across awards when working on more than one grant-funded program. 11. Support project directors in the operational management of assigned programs, including scheduling, logistics, event coordination, and tracking of project milestones and deliverables. 12. Coordinate with partner institutions, subrecipients, contractors, and vendors to ensure agreements, deliverables, invoices, and reporting obligations are met. 13. Serve as a point of contact for state and federal agencies regarding grant administration, budget modifications, and compliance for assigned awards. 14. Conduct periodic reviews of assigned grant programs to monitor progress and to identify potential compliance or performance concerns. 15. Research and help ensure the College adheres to all applicable federal and state statutes, regulations, and guidelines, including the RESTORE Act and 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance). 16. Recommend the preparation of budget revisions, the no-cost extensions, continuation applications, and other post-award actions requiring funding agency approval. 17. Work with the MGCCC Institutional Research and Effectiveness division to coordinate and implement data management and performance measurement plans specified in grant applications. 18. Work with campus stakeholders as a liaison to MDEQ to gain funder approval for marketing, outreach, and recruitment materials 19. Support preparation of materials for audits, monitoring visits, and site visits conducted by funding agencies, external auditors, or the College. 20. Be knowledgeable about the College's programs and services to students and industry. 21. Abide by all confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. 22. Job Duties Incumbent reports directly to Associate Vice President of Finance/Comptroller and is responsible for the financial and programmatic coordination of select BP Restore grants, with primary assignment to the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network ( MAIN ). The position will ensure the proper administration and distribution of funds along with timely accurate reporting. The BP Restore Financial and Programmatic Coordinator will work closely with college leadership, business and finance staff, faculty, other stakeholders, and state agencies to ensure efficient and effective management of grant funds and program operations. This position is grant funded. Mandatory Qualifications (M1) Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, public administration, or a related field. (M2) At least two years of experience in grant administration, financial or budget management, project coordination, or a related field. (M3) Financial recordkeeping experience, including tracking expenditures against an approved budget. (M4) Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple awards, assignments, and deadlines concurrently and to adjust priorities as assigned. (M5) Superior written and interpersonal communication skills. (M6) Proficient computing skills in a networked environment, familiarity with basic Internet and e-mail skills, and functional knowledge of applications in the Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate or advanced Excel. (M7) Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. (M8) Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Desirable Qualifications (D1) Master's degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a related field. (D2) Experience at a community college or other public institution of higher education. (D3) Knowledge of federal and state grant regulations and guidelines, including 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance) and RESTORE Act requirements. (D4) Experience administering federal or state pass-through awards, including reimbursement requests, cost allocation across multiple awards, and subrecipient monitoring. (D5) Experience with Banner. (D6) Experience with data analysis and performance reporting.
