We believe everyone deserves relationships free from violence and access to the support needed to live safely and independently. Safe Haven is seeking a Grants Manager Assistant to oversee grant compliance, reporting, data management, and funder stewardship. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the organization meets all grant requirements, accurately tracks program outcomes, and maintains strong relationships with funding partners. The Grants Manager Assistant will work closely with the Executive Director, Deputy Director, Finance Department, Communications Director, leadership team, and Board of Directors to support the organization's sustainability and growth. While this position will provide collaborative support for development efforts, fundraising and donor engagement remain a shared organizational responsibility. Responsibilities The Grants Manager Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day administration of assigned grants.
Primary responsibilities include:
Monitoring grant budgets Tracking expenditures Preparing reimbursement requests Completing cost reports Maintaining grant files Updating the Budget & Grant Balance Tracking workbook Updating the Funding Chart Maintaining supporting documentation Uploading reports to grant portals Ensuring reports are submitted by required deadlines Requirements & Skills
  • Experience in grant management, grant compliance, program evaluation, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of grant reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Commitment to the mission of serving survivors of domestic violence.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
