Job Description

The Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry at Carnegie Mellon University's College of Fine Arts is the laboratory for creative research. The Associate Director is a crucial member of our team managing relationships with CMU and external partners, preparing documentation of research, and creating paths to resources. They work in collaboration with the Director and Financial Associate to operate the STUDIO's grant programs, event hosting, and research project development.
Core Responsibilities:
Maintains safety and security of laboratory space in accordance with EH&S regulations. Co-facilitates outreach and meetings with internal and external partners. Intake requests for use of STUDIO resources and applications to STUDIO grant programs. Manages operations documentation for annual record keeping and reporting on STUDIO activities. Supports management of student workers. Additional projects as requested. A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required 5-8 Years of Academic Advising Experience 5-8 Years of Academic Program Management Experience 5-8
Years of Teaching/Instruction Experience Financial Acumen Skills Strong Organizational and Planning Skills Strong Problem-Solving and Reasoning Skills Strong Relationship Building Skills Requirements:
