Job Description:

Summary:

The Philanthropy Officer advances the mission of the Foundation by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors, with a focus on major gifts and pipeline development. This role works closely with the Director of Individual Philanthropy to achieve revenue goals and strengthen donor relationships. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management Manage a portfolio of 100-125 qualified prospects, focusing on leadership annual gifts of $1K+ and major gifts of $10K-$50K+. Conduct donor visits, solicit gifts, and provide personalized stewardship. Pipeline Development Identify and qualify new prospects through research and referrals. Collaborate with Annual Fund Manager to upgrade annual donors to major gift level. Strategy & Collaboration Partner with Director of Individual Philanthropy on cultivation strategies and solicitation plans. Work with Data Intelligence for prospect research and analytics. Reporting & Compliance Maintain accurate activity records in CRM; adhere to gift acceptance policies. Track progress toward individual and team KPIs. KPIs Number of donor visits and solicitations. Revenue generated from portfolio. Pipeline growth and conversion rates.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; CFRE preferred. 3+ years in fundraising or sales with demonstrated success in relationship management. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
