PRIMARY FUNCTION/RESPONSIBILTYThe Fatherhood Services Supervisor provides leadership and oversight for fatherhood services at SJRC Texas. This role ensures that staff deliver high-quality, family-centered services, and brings awareness to our fatherhood services by providing resources, support, and education for families in the community. The Supervisor is responsible for staff supervision, program compliance, community partnerships, and maintaining a supportive environment that reflects the organizations mission and values.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESOversee program planning, delivery, and compliance of the
Fatherhood EFFECT Grant:
Educating Fathers for Empowering Children Tomorrow (EFFECT) Program in Comal and Victoria Counties. Support and promote the philosophy and integrity of Nurturing Fathers Program by maintaining certification and teaching classes when needed to meet program requirements.

Help oversee inventory, reporting and compliance of the Safe Riders Grant. Support and promote car seat safety maintaining certification and teaching classes when needed. Supervise, coach, and support staff, volunteers, and interns; provide training and professional development opportunities.

Monitor program activities to ensure fidelity, compliance with funding requirements, and achievement of outcomes.

Facilitate referrals, resource navigation, and service coordination for families.

Track and report program data, outcomes, and service delivery to ensure continuous quality improvementPlan and oversee fatherhood events, parent education workshops, and community outreach activities.

Coordinate with SJRC Texas marketing department for promotion of Fatherhood Programming.

Build and maintain Fatherhood community partner relationships and program recruitment.

Design and lead community-wide Fatherhood Initiative Coalition meetings. Promote a culture of respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence among staff and families served. Handle escalated family, team member, and community partner concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solution focused lens. Consistently enforce all SJRC Texas and Family Enrichment Department Policies and ProceduresMeet training and continuing education standards as required by SJRC Texas and grant funders.

Focus on continuous improvement, semi-annually assessing Program Staffs skill levels and quality of program service deliveryDevelop and maintain strong community partnerships with schools, social service agencies, healthcare providers, and other organizations.

Communicate Program successes to agency and community.

Respect confidentiality and privacy with regards to fatherhood clients, team members and organization Takes ownership in departmental/organizational problems with continuous performance improvement as a goalEnsure maintenance of accurate logs and records as required by SJRC Texas and Community Enrichment DepartmentDesign, implement and maintain data collection proceduresSupport and promote the philosophy of SJRC Texas and the integrity of our programs Participation in staff meetings, trainings, and conferences as required by the Community Enrichment Department and SJRC TexasComplete monthly auditing and reports as required by funders.

Supervise and support Fatherhood Specialists; complete 2 hours of reflective supervision with each direct report per monthOther related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelors degree in Social Work or other human services field2+ Years in child welfare or other human services field
Preferred:
Masters Degree in Social Work of other human services field5+ Years in child welfare or other human services field
BilingualCertifications/Licenses/Registrations:
Valid state drivers license, good driving record, ability to provide own transportation and proof of current automobile insuranceCPR/First Aid Certification
