About the Role Fat Fender Garage is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse and production inventory operations. This role is central to a major upcoming transition: preparing our physical warehouse and production inventory locations for the implementation of Odoo (ERP). The ideal candidate combines hands-on inventory management discipline with the organizational skills to get our storage systems, bin locations, and part numbers ERP-ready, while keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly throughout the transition. Key Responsibilities Develop SOPs for warehouse and kitting operations as well as system related SOPs when ERP goes live. Prepare and organize warehouse and production inventory locations in advance of Odoo (ERP) implementation, including bin/location mapping, labeling, and data-readiness for a clean system cutover. Serve as a key operational contact during the Odoo rollout, helping validate inventory data, test workflows, and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Conduct manual physical inventory counts and perform daily reconciliation between counted stock and inventory records to maintain accuracy prior to and during the ERP transition. Establish and maintain project-specific storage and staging areas for vehicles and parts in active builds, ensuring components are organized, tracked, and readily accessible to production teams. Manage online order fulfillment workflows using Shopify and ShipStation, including order processing, pick/pack accuracy, shipping label generation, and tracking communication. Coordinate closely with production leadership to align inventory availability with the production schedule, flagging shortages or bottlenecks before they impact build timelines. Create work orders to produce saleable products through our chassis, fab, and paint production lines and track through completion Supervise, schedule, and develop warehouse staff, setting clear expectations and providing hands-on leadership and training. Enforce safety, cleanliness, and organizational standards throughout the warehouse and staging areas. Communicate consistently and clearly with operations, production, and shop leadership regarding inventory status, receiving, and shipping activity. Maintain accurate receiving records for incoming parts and materials, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of prior leadership or supervisory experience, ideally in a warehouse, inventory, or production environment. Working knowledge of automotive parts, terminology, and restoration/production shop operations. Experience with, or strong aptitude for, ERP systems; prior involvement in an ERP implementation or transition (Odoo experience a plus) is highly valued. Hands-on experience with manual inventory counting and reconciliation processes. Practical experience with Shopify and ShipStation for order management and fulfillment. Experience supporting or coordinating production scheduling in a manufacturing, fabrication, or automotive setting. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across warehouse, production, and management teams. Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet in a warehouse/shop environment. Proficiency with basic computer systems and inventory or spreadsheet software. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience with Odoo or another major ERP platform (NetSuite, SAP, Fishbowl, etc.). Background in the automotive restoration, custom fabrication, or classic car industry. Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse material-handling equipment.
