Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Arizona Time) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Inventory Control Clerk I to support inventory management, purchasing, and facility operations within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating procurement activities, monitoring material availability, supporting maintenance operations, and ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies and operational standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams including warehouse operations, maintenance, procurement, and vendors. Key Responsibilities Inventory Control & Warehouse Operations Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for warehouse, maintenance, and operational supplies. Perform routine inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy. Track inventory movements and investigate discrepancies. Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to support uninterrupted warehouse and facility operations. Coordinate inventory replenishment based on operational requirements. Purchasing & Procurement Create, process, and manage purchase orders for maintenance, operational, and warehouse materials. Track purchase orders from issuance through delivery to ensure timely receipt of materials. Communicate with vendors regarding order status, pricing, delivery schedules, and product availability. Maintain procurement documentation in accordance with company policies. Support sourcing activities and assist with vendor selection when required. Maintenance & Facility Support Partner with maintenance personnel to forecast material, equipment, and tool requirements for preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Assist in maintaining adequate stock levels for maintenance supplies and critical spare parts. Support facility management initiatives by coordinating procurement for building maintenance and operational needs. Assist in managing vendor contracts related to HVAC, janitorial services, equipment maintenance, and facility repairs. Vendor & Contract Administration Maintain vendor records and procurement documentation. Monitor supplier performance including delivery timelines, quality, and service levels. Assist in evaluating vendor performance and preparing recommendations for process improvements. Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and applicable regulations. Reporting & Administrative Support Prepare reports related to purchasing activities, inventory status, vendor performance, and procurement costs. Maintain accurate purchasing, inventory, and contract records. Support audit preparation by organizing procurement and inventory documentation. Perform general administrative duties related to warehouse operations, procurement, and facility management. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with warehouse personnel, maintenance teams, procurement, finance, and external vendors. Communicate inventory shortages, delivery updates, and procurement issues to relevant stakeholders. Assist with process improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and purchasing efficiency. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an office, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or production environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Additional education or certification in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Business Administration. Previous experience with purchasing, procurement, or inventory control. Experience using purchasing software, ERP systems, or inventory management systems. Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control processes. Basic knowledge of facility maintenance operations and preventive maintenance planning. Experience working in manufacturing or distribution environments.
