EHS Manager Posted on October 27, 2025 October 27, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead all aspects of environmental, health, and safety programs within our client's organization. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and strategic leader who can promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across all operations. This role requires a balance of hands-on field presence and policy-level oversight to ensure regulatory compliance and operational excellence. Position Responsibilities EHS Program Management Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations. Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Training & Compliance Lead EHS training initiatives to ensure staff awareness and engagement in safe work practices. Maintain accurate documentation of safety training, incident reports, and compliance records. Collaborate with department leaders to address safety observations and corrective actions. Incident Management & Reporting Oversee investigations of workplace accidents, near misses, and environmental incidents. Identify root causes and implement preventive measures to mitigate recurrence. Prepare and submit required EHS reports and documentation to regulatory agencies. Continuous Improvement Drive initiatives that enhance safety culture and reduce environmental impact. Monitor key safety metrics and develop strategies for ongoing performance improvement. Partner with leadership to integrate EHS principles into company operations and decision-making. Prerequisites Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations. Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. Certifications (Preferred, but not Required) Certified Safety Professional (CSP) Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) OSHA 30-Hour or equivalent
