Nellson is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our Powder Division in Anaheim, California. Position SummaryThe Inventory Control Clerk supports inventory accuracy and material control activities by maintaining records, assisting with cycle counts, and supporting inventory reconciliation processes. This role works closely with Inventory Control, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure accurate inventory data, timely material movement, and compliance with inventory procedures in a manufacturing environment.

Essential FunctionsAssist with cycle counts, inventory verification, and reconciliation activities.

Maintain accurate inventory records and update systems with inventory adjustments as directed.

Investigate inventory discrepancies and escalate issues to Inventory Control or supervision.

Support physical inventory counts and related documentation.

Assist with tracking expired, damaged, or obsolete materials.

Prepare and maintain inventory reports, logs, and records.

Follow established SOPs, inventory controls, and safety requirements.

Additional DutiesSupport warehouse and production teams with material movement coordination as needed.

Assist with audit preparation and inventory-related data requests.

Maintain organized files and documentation related to inventory activities.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.

Previous inventory, warehouse, or clerical experience preferred.

Basic computer skills and experience with inventory or ERP systems preferred.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to follow written procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical DemandsWhile performing the essential functions of this job, the employee may be required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use standard office equipment. The employee may occasionally lift or move materials up to 25 pounds. Work EnvironmentThe work environment includes office, warehouse, and manufacturing areas with exposure to inventory storage, forklift traffic, and operational activity. The employee must comply with all safety rules, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
