Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to support inventory accuracy and material flow for a Contract position based in Long Beac, California. This role focuses on maintaining organized stock records, assisting assembly line operations, and helping ensure inventory counts remain reliable throughout daily operations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling physical inventory activities, and keeping asset information current and precise.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by receiving, counting, and updating stock and asset information on a routine basis.
  • Support assembly line operations by ensuring required materials are available and properly staged for production needs.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory activities to verify stock levels and resolve discrepancies.
  • Track inventory movement across storage and production areas to help preserve accuracy and accountability.
  • Investigate count variances and work with internal teams to correct records and improve inventory control practices.
  • Organize inventory locations to promote efficient access, clear labeling, and proper material handling.
  • Monitor asset inventory details and keep documentation current for equipment, materials, and related items.
  • Prepare basic inventory reports and communicate shortages, overages, or inventory concerns to the appropriate team members.
