Material Coordinator - Pre-Weigh /
Manufacturing Pay:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30
PM Employment Type:
Full-Time We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to support Manufacturing and Pre-Weigh operations . This is a hands-on role responsible for ensuring raw materials are accurately picked, staged, delivered to the appropriate production areas, and properly returned to inventory after production. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, strong inventory control and computer skills, and hands-on experience operating a stand-up forklift/reach truck . Key Responsibilities Pick and stage raw materials required for daily production activities Deliver raw materials to designated manufacturing and Pre-Weigh areas according to production schedules Return unused raw materials to the appropriate inventory locations after production Perform and document inventory transfers and transactions within an ERP, WMS, or inventory management system Ensure physical material movements accurately match system transactions Verify material quantities, item numbers, lot numbers, and storage locations before moving materials Accurately issue and return materials from inventory Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts Investigate and report inventory discrepancies Safely operate a stand-up forklift/reach truck to move and store materials Load, unload, transport, and properly stage materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing areas Maintain organized raw material storage and staging areas Follow
FIFO/FEFO
procedures and applicable material-handling requirements Communicate with Manufacturing, Warehouse, and Scheduling teams regarding material needs Help ensure materials are available when needed to prevent production delays Follow all safety, quality, GMP, and manufacturing procedures Perform additional material-handling and manufacturing support duties as assigned Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material-handling environments Previous experience with inventory control and raw materials Hands-on experience operating a stand-up forklift/reach truck Strong computer skills and the ability to accurately perform inventory transactions Experience using an ERP, WMS, or inventory management system Experience performing inventory transfers, issuing materials, or similar inventory transactions Ability to accurately identify materials by item number, description, lot number, quantity, and location Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to read and follow production orders, material requests, and work instructions Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while supporting a team Commitment to workplace safety and maintaining an organized work environment Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in food, pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetics, personal care, consumer packaged goods, or similar manufacturing environments Experience with lot-controlled inventory Experience supporting Pre-Weigh, Batch, Compounding, or Production departments Forklift certification Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Fishbowl, or similar systems Schedule & Availability Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM Must have flexibility to work 2nd Shift when needed Overtime may be required based on business needs Occasional schedule changes may be necessary Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull materials and containers Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Ability to safely move heavier materials using appropriate equipment or team assistance Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive material-handling tasks Ability to safely work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Apply today for consideration!
