Job Description

About the Role We are a plaintiff's personal injury firm seeking an experienced litigation attorney to own cases from filing through verdict or resolution. This is a hands-on litigation role for an attorney who is comfortable in the courtroom and motivated to fight for injured clients — not a desk job managing a settlement mill. You will carry your own caseload and be responsible for every phase of litigation: drafting and filing complaints, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, trial preparation, and trying cases to verdict when the right result can't be reached at the table. What You'll Do Manage a litigation caseload from case filing through verdict or resolution Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and dispositive motion briefing Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts Work with medical experts, accident reconstructionists, and economists to build damages Argue motions and appear at hearings, case management conferences, and mediations Prepare cases for trial and serve as first or second chair Communicate regularly with clients and keep them informed at every stage Evaluate case value and negotiate settlements that reflect full and fair compensation What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years of litigation experience , with substantial plaintiff-side personal injury work strongly preferred Demonstrated trial experience — candidates should be prepared to discuss their trial history, including verdicts and results Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar Strong command of civil procedure, evidence, and motion practice Excellent deposition skills and courtroom presence Proven ability to independently manage a full litigation caseload and meet deadlines Genuine commitment to advocating for injured people and their families
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
