Job Description

Personal Injury Paralegal Seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal who can independently manage and move cases forward with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate must have strong California personal injury experience and be comfortable handling litigation tasks from start to finish. This position is best suited for someone who does not need to be micromanaged. We are looking for a proactive, organized, and reliable paralegal who understands case flow, deadlines, medical records, insurance issues, discovery, and litigation procedure. Responsibilities Independently manage personal injury case files through litigation Draft and prepare complaints, discovery, discovery responses, subpoenas, deposition notices, meet and confer letters, pleadings, and settlement documents Calendar and track statutes of limitation, discovery deadlines, court dates, motion deadlines, and trial-related deadlines Review, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, police reports, insurance documents, and case evidence Prepare demand packages, mediation briefs, case summaries, and litigation status updates Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, defense counsel, experts, court vendors, and opposing counsel Coordinate depositions, mediations, arbitrations, inspections, and trial preparation Assist attorneys with litigation strategy, case development, and file organization Handle e-filing and e-service in California courts Qualifications Prior personal injury paralegal experience required [Preferably 5 Years] California litigation experience strongly preferred Must be able to work independently and manage deadlines Strong knowledge of California civil procedure, discovery, court filings, and litigation timelines Experience with medical records, billing, liens, demands, and case valuation support Strong drafting, organization, and communication skills Ability to handle a high-volume caseload Trial preparation experience preferred Bilingual Armenian, Spanish, or Russian is a plus but not required Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is experienced, self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and knows how to push a file forward. This person should be able to identify what needs to be done, follow through, and keep attorney updated without needing constant direction.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
