Ontario, CA About Us CNC Machining & Engineering is a precision CNC machining company located in Ontario, California. We specialize in manufacturing high-quality parts for defense and commercial industries. Our team takes pride in accuracy, organization, and maintaining a high standard of quality throughout every step of the process. Position Overview We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Inventory Clerk to help manage inventory and fulfill customer orders in our manufacturing environment. This position is hands-on and involves working with small parts, organizing inventory, pulling customer orders, counting and packaging parts, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Because many of our parts are small and similar in appearance, accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important . The ideal candidate is someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable performing repetitive tasks, and takes the time to make sure their work is correct. Responsibilities Pull parts from inventory based on customer orders and requested quantities Accurately count, verify, and package small parts for shipment Prepare parts in quantities of 25, 50, or 100 as needed Identify and organize completed production jobs using part numbers and job numbers Create and apply labels to ensure proper part and job traceability Assist with fulfilling backorders and keeping track of outstanding quantities Perform routine cycle counts and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies Receive completed production jobs into inventory and ensure parts are properly organized Maintain accurate inventory records within our ERP system Assist with preparing and processing orders for shipment Keep inventory areas clean, organized, and easy to navigate Follow established procedures to ensure parts are properly counted, labeled, and accounted for Qualifications Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable and punctual Able to follow written and verbal instructions Comfortable counting small parts and working with quantities Comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our inventory/ERP system Able to work independently once trained Previous inventory, warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping experience is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For The right person for this position will: Take pride in doing accurate work Double-check quantities and labels before moving on to the next task Stay organized and keep their work area in order Be dependable and consistent with attendance Be comfortable with a structured routine Ask questions when something does not look correct Work efficiently while maintaining accuracy Schedule & Training This is a Monday-Friday, part-time morning position from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM . During the initial training period, hours will be approximately 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM . Once training is completed, the regular schedule will be 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM .Pay:
