Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is a unionized role. Starting rate is $19, after successful completion of 90 day probationary period rate will increase to $21.00. This role will be responsible for receiving and processing all incoming orders. This team is an essential part of supplying products to the stores, and the success of this company depends on the excellent execution of this role.SCHEDULE
Shift 1: Monday- Friday 9 AM
- 5:30 PM Shift 2: Saturday
- Wednesday 6:30 AM
- 3 PM You must be able to work both shifts if needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receiving and validating incoming orders from outside vendors
- Validating counts and costs to ensure accurate receiving
- Validating invoice and manifest details
- Input orders into the POS System
- Count and organize incoming product to be ready for outgoing delivery
- Prepare outgoing orders for delivery and load the delivery vehicle
- Travel with store delivery to the final receiving store
- Unload and receive products in the destination store
- Make products available for floor staff to sell
- Keep backstock areas neat and organized
- Use Metrc tags to keep store compliant
- Use FIFO to make sure oldest products are sold first
- Other duties as assigned Desired Competencies Strong communication skills Good working knowledge of Excel Effective coaching and motivation skills Experience scheduling hourly employees Proven ability to effectively train and develop others Strong knowledge of cannabis products Knowledge and understanding of cannabis compliance requirements Working knowledge of Metrc input and tracking Strong knowledge of Treez inventory management functionality Qualifications • High School Graduate or GED • Experience working in the cannabis industry, preferably on the inventory management side.
