- for an Inventory Control Clerk!
CORT Events provides furniture rental solutions to trade shows and events including festivals, weddings, corporate events, or even the Superbowl! The Inventory Control Clerk oversees inventory and the transfer of products in and out of a designated CORT location, ensuring we have the right product at the right time to fulfill our orders and satisfy our customers' needs. The ideal candidate has prior computerized inventory control experience, shipping/receiving and warehouse experience along with excellent planning skills and attention to detail. This is a hands-on operations position; we're looking for someone willing to roll up their sleeves to assist on the warehouse floor or with deliveries in addition to their work behind a desk.

- Responsibilities
- + Receives new product into the warehouse and processes it into the electronic inventory data base + Provides clerical support for asset team + Assures that product is cleaned, repaired and stored according to Company quality standards + Ensures that product is correctly located in the warehouse and in the inventory system + Conducts product cycle counts + Makes purchase recommendations for parts and shop materials based on established minimums + Reviews and processes transfers in/out & maintains product distribution records + Reviews incoming orders and responds to other CORT locations who inquire about the transfer and availability of product + Assists on the warehouse floor or at event deliveries as needed •Qualifications•+ 18 years of age or older + High school diploma or GED equivalent required + 1-3 years previous inventory, shipping & receiving, warehouse experience + Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis + Able to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks (previous experience is a plus) + Must pass drug screening (does not inlcude THC) as a condition of employment.
