Inventory Clerk

Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in San Francisco, California. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the textile sample supply for our design studio. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a creative and dynamic environment while supporting the operations of a high-end design team.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize the textile sample supply closet, ensuring all materials are properly labeled and stored for easy accessibility.
• Regularly update and catalog new samples in the inventory management system with precision.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate the reordering of samples and materials as necessary.
• Assist designers in sourcing and preparing sample sets for client presentations and meetings.
• Provide a welcoming and attentive experience for clients visiting the studio.
• Handle incoming shipments and ensure proper storage and organization of newly received materials.
• Safely utilize ladders to access and organize materials stored on high shelves.
• Support the operations and design teams with various inventory and administrative tasks as needed. Requirements
• Previous experience in inventory management, office organization, or a similar role is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift boxes and use ladders safely to access high storage areas.
• Proficiency with inventory or sample management software, with a willingness to learn new tools quickly.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented approach.
• Must be able to work on-site in a fast-paced, creative environment.
