Role:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Cycle Counter Associate to help maintain accurate inventory records through our warehouse. In this role, you will work closely with warehouse management to conduct daily cycle counts, research inventory discrepancies, verify product locations, and complete real-time inventory transactions in NetSuite. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable warehouse management system and handheld RF scanners, works accurately and independently in a fast-paced warehouse, and is comfortable performing physically active work throughout the shift. You will also maintain daily inventory-control reports, uphold a clean and safe work environment, and contribute to a culture of customer service and teamwork through cross-training, collaboration, and proactive communication.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cycle Counting and Inventory Accuracy Conduct daily cycle counts across assigned pick bins, shelving units, and staging areas according to the established schedule. Scan bin locations and items barcodes using handheld RF scanners. Perform real-time inventory counts and bin transfers in NetSuite WMS. Compare physical inventory counts with NetSuite inventory records. Prepare and maintain complete and accurate inventory-counting documentation and daily inventory-control reports. Discrepancy Resolution and Inventory Control Identify, research, and resolve inventory discrepancies. Inspect inventory for missing or incorrect labels, damaged goods, and misplaced items. Update product locations and re-label inventory as necessary. Communicate unresolved discrepancies and other inventory concerns to warehouse management. Material Handling and Warehouse Support Use manual pallet jacks, rolling carts, stock carts, and hand trucks to organize and move products for verification. Assist with full physical inventory audits. Support warehouse location-consolidation and inventory-organization projects. Safety, Organization, and Teamwork Follow all warehouse safety procedures and established inventory-control processes. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards. Participate in cross-training and support other warehouse functions as needed. Collaborate with team members and proactively communicate issues that may affect inventory accuracy or warehouse operations.
About You:
Education and Experience High school diploma or GED equivalent. At least one year or experience in warehouse inventory, stock auditing, or cycle counting. Systems and Technology Experience Hands-on experience using NetSuite WMS or a comparable warehouse management system. Experience using handheld RF barcode scanners. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, email, data entry systems, and warehouse management systems. Ability to accurately enter, review, and update inventory information electronically. Ability to learn new systems quickly and troubleshoot basic technical issues. Material-Handling Equipment Comfortable using manual pallet jacks, stock carts, rolling carts, and hand trucks. Ability to safely move and organize inventory using manual material-handling equipment. No forklift operation or other powered industrial equipment is required. Core Competencies Basic math proficiency, including addition, subtraction, and multiplication. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills. Ability to identify, research and resolve inventory discrepancies. Ability to work independently and complete assigned counts on schedule. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements The employee must be able to perform the following essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation: Stand and walk for extended periods. Regularly bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the warehouse. Lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds.
