Job Description
- Materials Logistics Associate
Location:
- San Francisco, CA 94103
- Work Schedule
- : Sun
- Thurs, 10:00pm
- 6:30am
- OR•Tues•Sat 10:00pm•6:30am•Pay rate:•$25•33/h•
Contract:
- W2 under staffing supplier; with a 6-month duration (temporary only, possible extension according to performance)
- Role Overview
- As an Operations Logistics Associate for manufacturing operations, you'll be responsible for understanding and adhering to all warehouse processes, inventory integrity, operational process improvements pertaining to kitting, lineside delivery to general assembly, milk-run preparation, and execution to provide great customer experience.
- Core Responsibilities
Material Handling & Logistics:
- Transport parts (docks to production/shipping) via forklifts or on foot and uncrate critical assembly components.
Inventory & Systems:
- Use inventory software (e.g., SAP) to track parts, pull materials for production schedules, and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Collaboration & Safety:
- Work with stakeholders to meet delivery needs, maintain 5S organization, and strictly follow warehouse safety standards.
- Key Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree AND 2-4 years of warehouse experience
- OR•HS Diploma/GED and 6-8 years of warehouse experience•
Skills:
- Proficiency with MS Office (SAP is a plus), strong communication, and ability to operate heavy equipment.
Physical & Onsite:
- Lift up to 50 lbs and bring ASTM-compliant composite-toe safety shoes on Day 1.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must pass a background check, MVR check, and drug screen.
