Purpose:
- The MRO Receiving and Inventory Professional is responsible for all aspects of MRO inventory in the plant including: receiving, overall storeroom operations, and inventory management.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of stockroom, inventory control, warehouse, purchasing, receiving (or a combination of all); or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the position
- Excellent organizational skills
- Forklift experience
- Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
- Demonstrated computer proficiency
- Strong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MRO Inventory and warehouse experience
- Associates degree in Business, Manufacturing, Production or related field
- Proficient knowledge of Infor (EAM) and JD Edwards E1
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily coordination of tracking, receiving, and expediting of goods and services at the plant site, and ensuring that these are delivered in a timely manner and at maximum total cost benefit
- Knowledge and understanding of supplier site requirements to ensure safety and policy enforcement during supplier visits
- Responsible for picking and kitting items for maintenance jobs and work orders
- Champions site warehouse improvement efforts
- Inspects kitted items for accuracy and keeps maintenance technicians informed of completed kits and all related details
- Coordinates with Reliability MRO Manager for Item Master Entry
- Validate storeroom inventory to ensure removal of obsolete parts
- Electronically issues and returns all storeroom items within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and assists maintenance technicians with requisition entry
- Responsible for processing of all specialty tooling in the tool room
- Manage VMI areas for overages, stock outs and cleanliness
- Collect barcodes for issued inventory and submit to one location daily
- Maintain packaging Items, cardboard, and recycling within stores
- Tracks inventory and maintains appropriate warehouse inventory levels
- Warehouse inventory replenishment
- Mechanical and electrical warehouses and receiving area housekeeping
- Monitor all remote storeroom inventory
- Assists in reconciliation of inbound invoices
- Receive freight deliveries
- Unloads equipment trucks as needed
- Maintains a database of parts and equipment ordered
- Looks for cost reductions in the form of inventory reduction or elimination
- Provides excellent customer service for internal and external customers
