Job Description
Koha Foods is one of Hawai'i's largest Asian and specialty food distributors, proudly serving restaurants, supermarkets, and local retailers throughout the islands. We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our Warehouse Operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and maintaining accurate inventory records. The Inventory Control Clerk plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations by tracking inventory movement, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and helping ensure inventory accuracy throughout the facility. What You'll Do Maintain accurate inventory records and system data Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies Track product movement and ensure inventory transactions are properly documented Verify product quantities and locations throughout the warehouse Coordinate with Receiving, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams to support inventory accuracy Assist with inventory adjustments and reporting Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages or issues Maintain organized records and documentation for audits and internal use Follow company safety, food safety, and inventory control procedures What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail and accuracy Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Strong organizational and time management skills Basic computer and data entry skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of inventory control, warehouse, data entry, or related experience preferred Forklift certification preferred or ability to successfully complete company-approved training and certification Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Why Join Koha Foods?
