Role:

We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Sales Associates and Inventory Assistants to support daily store operations. This role emphasizes providing excellent customer service, driving sales, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, managing inventory, ensuring security and policy compliance, and properly executing opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities:

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment at all times. Follow and execute all opening and closing procedures, including cash handling, store setup, inventory checks, and securing merchandise. Ensure compliance with company policies, security protocols, and loss prevention practices. Assist customers with purchases, product knowledge, and recommendations. Promote store events, sales, and trading card activities to enhance customer engagement. Operate POS systems, including Clover POS, and accurately process customer transactions. Use digital inventory systems to receive, track, update, and maintain accurate inventory records. Assist with receiving, sorting, organizing, labeling, and storing new merchandise. Restock merchandise and maintain organized back-stock and storage areas. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs to management. Assist with purchasing and product replenishment as directed by management. Perform inventory counts, audits, and other inventory-related tasks to help maintain accurate stock levels. Identify and report discrepancies between physical inventory and digital inventory records. Maintain accurate product organization and presentation throughout the sales floor and inventory areas. Handle merchandise carefully and maintain attention to detail when organizing, counting, pricing, and entering products into inventory systems. Monitor store activity and report any safety, security, inventory, or loss prevention concerns. Provide excellent customer service and foster a positive, inclusive store atmosphere. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding sales, inventory, purchasing, and daily operational needs. Work efficiently and accurately while balancing customer service responsibilities with inventory and operational tasks. This position may require additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to meet business needs.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling inventory, product information, organization, and transactions. Ability to follow procedures consistently and responsibly. Good communication and customer service skills. Basic computer, digital inventory system, and POS system proficiency. Experience with Clover POS or similar retail systems is a plus. Ability to accurately count, organize, track, and maintain inventory. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment. Interest in collectibles, trading cards, or the hobby industry is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Employees must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, and lifting, and maintain mobility in a retail environment. Lifting and/or moving up to 30 lbs (or more with assistance) may be required.

Pay:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
