We are looking to fill a full time Salvage Department Technician . In this role, every day will be different and offer you the opportunity to do a wide range of different duties to help support internal inventory system and salvage team members. Daily tasks will primarily include assisting our Demanufacturing Technicians in the truck dismantling process (removing parts, entering part information into inventory, etc.).

Other tasks will include:

Identifying, inspecting, and cleaning used truck parts Painting parts and taking pictures of final product Entering parts into our internet-based inventory system Entering heavy-duty trucks and equipment into our inventory system Conducting inspections on used trucks and verifying purchase information Updating salvage specs and pictures in our inventory system Prior experience working with heavy-duty trucks (Class 6 - 8) is preferred. Prior mechanical experience is not required for this role. The right applicant must be highly organized, comfortable working with technology, and be able to work & communicate effectively with other team members.

Hours:

Day shift hours, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. This position offers a consistent schedule & regular overtime. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!

Compensation:

This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Hourly rate is dependent upon experience. This position is paid an hourly rate of $17.00 up to $23.00 per hour for qualified candidates. Compensation is dependent upon experience level and qualifications.
