Job Description:
Maintain automation zones for cleanliness. Remove trays and record damage. Perform other inventory control functions as needed. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. Ability to work in different temperature zones; Freezer, Cooler, and Dry. Knowledge of basic safety practices and material handling equipment. Ability to operate basic machinery/tools as trained. Day to day responsibilities will largely be around investigating inventory discrepancies, counting items, communicating findings and correcting operational errors to ensure inventory is accurate. Count merchandise in stock and posts totals to inventory records. Compare inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory. Verify clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies. Generate reports such as inventory balance or shortages. Prepare lists of depleted items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.
