They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to support inventory operations in a distribution environment. This role is responsible for maintaining organized work areas, removing damaged materials, supporting inventory control activities, and ensuring assigned work zones remain clean and efficient. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in varying temperature environments and can safely perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned automation and inventory work areas. Remove trays and damaged materials from designated zones and document damage as required. Perform inventory control tasks, including material handling and inventory support activities. Maintain accurate records related to damaged inventory and assigned tasks. Operate basic equipment and tools following established procedures and safety guidelines. Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures. Assist with additional inventory-related duties as assigned. Support team goals by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift and carry 25-50 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to work in multiple temperature-controlled environments, including freezer, cooler, and dry storage areas. Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices and material handling procedures. Ability to learn and safely operate basic machinery and equipment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in inventory control, warehouse, distribution, janitorial, maintenance, or similar environments. Experience working in food manufacturing, food distribution, or warehouse operations. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing priorities. Work Environment Onsite position in a warehouse/distribution facility. Work is performed in dry, refrigerated, and freezer environments. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift. Overtime may be available based on business needs.
