Scope:
The Cycle Counter weighs, measures, and checks materials, supplies, and equipment for the purpose of keeping relevant records.
Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities :
Promotes safety and conducts him/herself in accordance with all safety guidelines at all times Performs cycle counts per instructions & /or through the routine of verifying the necessary components per the "production schedules" Collects or prepares measurement, weight, or identification labels and attaches them to products Documents quantity, quality, type, weight, test result data, and value of materials or products, in order to maintain shipping, receiving, and production records and files Reconciles the inventory within the warehouses Weighs or measures materials, equipment, or products to maintain relevant records, using volume meters, scales, rules, and/or calipers Unloads or unpacks incoming shipments Reconciles SYSRPO inventory balances with actual counts conducted Enters results into
SYSPRO:
inventory transactions adjustments under close supervision Other assignments upon request by management All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications with proficiency in MS Excel Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and exhibit attention to detail Possess basic reasoning and problem solving skills Have the ability to work independently and with a team within a fast paced environment Demonstrate and promote teamwork on a consistent basis
Physical Demands:
Must be able to physically perform the functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions Must be able to work seated using a computer and phone for long periods of time. Must be able to work extended hours, such as daily overtime and an occasional weekend Must possess visual acuity to document company records Continuous walking throughout plant and distribution center. Lifting up to 40 pounds #IND1
