Job Description
Position Summary The Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, accurate cycle counts, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring materials are properly received, stored, and issued to production. This role plays a critical part in keeping operations running efficiently by ensuring inventory accuracy, organization, and timely material flow throughout the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through cycle counts and physical inventory processes.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders.
- Properly store materials in designated locations following FEFO or other inventory control methods.
- Issue materials to production and ensure timely replenishment of production lines.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Track inventory movements using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
- Investigate, resolve, and report inventory discrepancies using root cause analysis when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Support shipping and receiving activities as needed.
- Collaborate with production, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
- Track and report inventory levels and accuracy to management on established frequency.
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems.

- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:
