Job Description
Kitter / Material Handler Job Summary Support production by receiving, storing, picking, and delivering materials while maintaining accurate inventory records in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Responsibilities Receive, stock, and move materials throughout the facility. Build and deliver kits for production orders. Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy. Enter inventory transactions into the warehouse management system. Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with corrections. Load/unload shipments and support dock operations. Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment as needed. Follow safety procedures and complete additional warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous warehouse, material handling, or inventory experience. Experience with a warehouse management system (SAP experience preferred). Strong attention to detail and basic computer skills. Ability to perform data entry and basic math. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to wear required PPE, including steel-toe footwear. Work Environment Clean, organized, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. First-shift schedule with limited overtime. Mixture of computer work, inventory control, material handling, and kitting activities. Team-focused environment with an emphasis on accuracy, safety, and work-life balance. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
