Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Haverhill, Massachusetts. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory control who can keep materials moving accurately and efficiently. The person in this role will support both domestic and international product flow while helping maintain organized warehouse operations and reliable stock records.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage outbound domestic and international shipments by preparing packages, creating shipping paperwork, and applying accurate labels.
  • Work closely with carriers, freight partners, and customs-related contacts to arrange timely pickups, deliveries, and shipment movement.
  • Receive inbound materials, inspect deliveries, and compare items against packing slips and purchase orders to confirm accuracy.
  • Monitor shipping activity and communicate shipment progress, delivery updates, and exceptions to internal team members.
  • Maintain current inventory information by recording transactions and updating warehouse or inventory tracking systems.
  • Investigate and help resolve issues involving damaged goods, quantity mismatches, delayed freight, or documentation concerns.
  • Follow applicable export, customs, and international transportation requirements to support compliant shipping practices.
  • Assist with day-to-day warehouse tasks such as organizing stock, staging materials, and supporting general receiving operations.
