Job Description
Surestaff (parent company to Cardinal Staffing) is partnered with an inventory auditing company through the United States. As an Inventory Auditor, you'll visit gas stations and convenience stores to perform accurate inventory counts and report results to store managers. Work includes freezers, coolers, stockrooms, and the sales floor. Commute is in addition to your workday; teams must arrive on-site by 6 AM, so some days you may leave as early as 3 AM.
Pay:
$19/hr Location and Travel- Daily travel is required to gas stations and convenience stores within a 3-hour radius of your home base
- You must arrive on-site by 6 AM; commute time is in addition to the workday
- Depending on distance, you may need to leave home as early as ~3 AM
- Must have a valid driver's license, active car insurance, and pass a motor vehicle check Hours
- Typically, 36-40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
- Workdays are not set shifts; end times vary depending on workload
- Most days wrap up between 1 PM and 5 PM (not including commute time)
- Any travel time over 30 minutes is paid for as time worked and any mileage is reimbursed. Responsibilities
- Count physical inventory accurately using a 10-key machine
- Work in a small team (typically 2-3 people) visiting 1-2 stores per day
- Work in freezers, coolers, stockrooms, and on the salesfloor
- Provide end-of-audit reports to store managers
- Address inventory discrepancies and problem-solve on-site
- Communicate with your division manager about client-specific concerns
- Complete administrative tasks such as payroll transmission and invoicing
- Coordinate daily travel and carpooling logistics
- Provide training, coaching, and development of auditors in order to build skills Requirements
- Lift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods, bend/squat, and operate keypad
- Comfortable working in various temperature environments (freezers/coolers)
- Willingness to travel Education/Tech
- High school Diploma or GED
