Job Description

Our client, a company at the forefront of the personal care industry, is seeking a Sample Center Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an innovative organization specializing in sustainable ingredients that support beauty, health, and overall well-being.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:00 PM or 8:00 AM-4:00
PM Pay:
$19-$20/hour

Direct Hire Position Overview The Sample Center Technician supports the day-to-day operations of the Sample Center, ensuring customer sample requests are prepared, packaged, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This position involves hands-on chemical handling, inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Key Responsibilities Process customer sample requests from start to finish, including filling and labeling chemical sample jars, packaging orders, and preparing shipments. Utilize internal computer systems to receive, process, track, and close sample requests. Maintain adequate inventory of prepared sample jars and replenish stock as needed. Monitor supplies, including boxes, jars, packing materials, and other Sample Center necessities. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Sample Center in accordance with established quality and safety standards. Follow all required safety procedures related to chemical handling, packaging, and shipping. Review and evaluate customer leads for the U.S. and Canada. Communicate and collaborate with internal team members to ensure requests and daily tasks are completed accurately and on time. Qualifications Previous experience handling chemicals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook. Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to read and understand procedures and manuals while maintaining accurate records. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Associate degree in a related field preferred. Knowledge of ISO 9001 and EFFCI standards preferred. Familiarity with OSHA and Process Safety practices and procedures preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Comfortable working around various chemicals and compounds. Ability to lift pails weighing up to 55 pounds. Ability to perform physical activities including squatting and kneeling.
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
