Established in 1997, The Cheshire Horse is a leading source for horse, pet, and farm supplies. We offer the best and largest selection possible, backed up by knowledgeable staff and great customer service. Our retail locations and our website stock everything needed to equip you, your horse, your pets, and your barn. We're looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Associate to join our team in Swanzey, NH on a full-time basis, with flexible hours. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our inventory accurate and up to date—researching and maintaining product information, coordinating with vendors, and working closely with purchasing, receiving, sales, and management teams. The ideal candidate has strong data entry and computer skills, a sharp eye for spotting errors, and is comfortable navigating spreadsheets, inventory software, and point-of-sale systems (don't worry, we'll provide training!). Duties will include (but not limited to): Perform regular product research, updates, and maintenance Communicate with vendors to obtain up-to-date product information, and ensure inventory is priced and entered appropriately Work closely with purchasing, receiving, sales, and management to maintain accurate inventory records Organize and maintain digital inventory files, spreadsheets, and related records Assist with other inventory and office tasks as assigned Desired skills and experience: Strong computer and data entry skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to identify errors and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies Comfortable working with spreadsheets, inventory software, and point-of-sale systems (we will provide training) Basic knowledge of Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or similar spreadsheet programs preferred Ability to work independently with good time-management skills Previous experience with inventory, data entry, retail systems, or administrative work is preferred Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently via email and other communication platforms
Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
