•10:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Stockroom Technician to support daily stockroom, inventory, material handling, and logistics operations in Elma, NY . This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory balances, issuing and receiving parts, performing cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and ensuring materials are properly stored, handled, packaged, and transferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in stockroom operations, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or material handling , along with strong basic computer skills and excellent attention to detail. This role requires a high degree of accuracy when working with lot-controlled materials and real-time inventory transactions. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate stock balances and inventory records across assigned stockrooms. Issue and receive parts, materials, components, and other inventory items. Perform cycle counts and investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Process inventory transactions including verifications, corrections, kit issues, shop floor issues, shortages, receipts, returns to stock, inter-stock transfers, and spare parts shipments. Accurately enter and process transactions within online, real-time inventory systems. Verify lot numbers and maintain accurate material traceability. Monitor and validate inventory transactions to ensure materials are properly issued, received, transferred, and recorded. Support material movement between stockrooms, production areas, and other designated locations. Coordinate with Program Analysts, Engineers, Dispatch Personnel, Model Shop Expediters, Receiving Inspection, Assembly, and Test personnel. Identify and communicate deviations from established procedures involving cure dates, packaging, material handling, and other stockroom requirements. Follow proper packaging and material handling procedures to prevent damage to parts and finished goods. Follow Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) handling requirements and applicable procedures. Complete and sign required certification documentation for spare parts. Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly stockroom environment. Clean and maintain material handling pans, containers, and other stockroom equipment. Consolidate inventory and maintain required stockroom supplies. Assist with training new employees on applicable stockroom procedures and processes. Work across different stockroom areas based on workload and operational requirements. Follow all applicable safety, quality, inventory control, and material handling procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in stockroom, warehouse, inventory control, logistics, material handling, or a related environment . Basic computer skills with the ability to accurately enter and retrieve information from inventory systems. Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy. Ability to work with lot-controlled and traceable materials. Ability to follow detailed procedures, work instructions, and established processes. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple departments. Ability to learn and accurately perform multiple inventory and material transactions. Previous ESD handling experience is preferred. Must be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods. Ability to lift and handle parts and boxes weighing up to 65 lbs. Ability to work either 1st or 2nd shift based on business requirements. Preferred Experience Stockroom or inventory management experience. Experience with ERP, warehouse management, or inventory transaction systems. Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation. Experience with parts receiving, issuing, returns, transfers, and material movement. Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, electronics, or other highly regulated production environment. Familiarity with ESD handling, lot traceability, packaging requirements, and material control procedures.

Pay:

$20.00

•$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
