Full-Time Our organization is seeking a highly detail‑oriented Inventory Control Specialist with additional responsibilities in Shipping and Receiving . This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting production efficiency, and ensuring the timely movement of materials throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and experienced in inventory management within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Primary Responsibilities Inventory Control Perform daily inventory counts, cycle counts, and full physical inventory audits. Reconcile inventory discrepancies and conduct root‑cause investigations. Update and maintain accurate inventory data within the ERP/WMS system. Monitor inbound and outbound material movement to ensure proper documentation and traceability. Partner with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to support accurate material flow. Execute inventory adjustments and prepare related reports for management review. Identify slow‑moving, obsolete, or excess inventory and recommend corrective action plans. Maintain organized storage areas in alignment with company standards and compliance requirements. Assist in developing, refining, and implementing inventory control procedures. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports for leadership. Shipping & Receiving Receive incoming materials, verify quantities, inspect for damage, and complete all required documentation. Track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures. Prepare, package, and ship orders using UPS, FedEx, and other carriers as required. Support warehouse operations to ensure timely and efficient material handling. Qualifications & Skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory tracking tools; experience with ERP/WMS systems preferred. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments. Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing is highly desirable. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift 40-50 lbs as needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions, depending on facility environment.
