Inventory Associate

Job Summary Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and love a fast-paced environment? We are looking for an Inventory Checker / Order Validator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be our last line of defense against shipping errors. Your primary responsibility will be to physically count, verify, and match outgoing tire orders against shipping manifests to ensure our customers get exactly what they ordered, every single time.

Full-time Key Responsibilities Verify Outgoing Orders:

Physically count tires and check specifications (brand, size, model, and tread) against pick tickets or digital orders before loading.

Accuracy Control:

Identify and immediately report any discrepancies, damaged items, or shortfalls in outgoing shipments.

Inventory Management:

Conduct routine cycle counts of warehouse tire stock to maintain accurate inventory levels.

Documentation:

Mark orders as "verified" in our system (using handheld scanners or paperwork) and log any staging issues.

Safety & Organization:

Maintain a clean, organized staging area and adhere to all warehouse safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

Previous experience in warehousing, inventory control, shipping/receiving, or the automotive/tire industry is a plus. Attention to

Detail:

High level of accuracy with numbers and product codes. You are someone who notices when something is even slightly off.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move tires repeatedly throughout a shift.

Tech Savvy:

Familiarity with or ability to quickly learn handheld RF scanners and basic inventory software.

Reliability:

Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic are non-negotiable. Schedule Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Overtime opportunities may be available. Work Location In person at our warehouse in Shippensburg, PA.
