Job Title:
Parts Handler Job Description The Parts Handler supports the clean and tag area of the shop by cleaning, preparing, and packaging parts for shipment and production. This role ensures parts are properly masked for painting, accurately stocked in inventory, and safely handled throughout the facility. Responsibilities Clean parts thoroughly to meet quality and production standards. Package parts securely for shipping to prevent damage during transport. Mask parts accurately in preparation for painting according to specifications. Stock parts and materials in the correct inventory locations and maintain organization. Hang and unhang parts safely and efficiently for processing or storage. Handle materials and parts throughout the production area using appropriate tools and methods. Support general labor tasks in the shop as needed to keep production flowing smoothly. Essential Skills Experience in production, manufacturing, or a similar environment. Ability to perform washing and cleaning tasks on parts and materials. Material handling skills, including safe movement and organization of parts. Basic inventory handling and stocking abilities. Capability to perform general labor tasks in a shop or warehouse setting. Attention to detail when masking, packaging, and handling parts. Ability to work effectively on 2nd or 3rd shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous production and manufacturing experience is a plus. Comfort working in a smaller shop environment with a close-knit team. Willingness to learn new processes and follow established procedures. Strong work ethic and reliability in a shift-based role. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a shop environment with approximately 30 hourly employees working on the floor. You will work on either 2nd or 3rd shift in a production setting that involves regular material handling, cleaning, and general labor tasks around parts and inventory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waynesboro, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
