Inside Sales & Inventory Associate Rapid Prep | North Kingstown, RI $22-$25/hour + commission opportunity after training Full-time | Monday-Friday | 1st Shift Rapid Prep is a growing national company serving the abrasive blasting and surface preparation industry. We are looking for a motivated Inside Sales & Warehouse Associate to join our North Kingstown team. This is a hands-on position that combines customer service, inside sales, order processing, inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehouse support. You will be a primary point of contact for customers calling or emailing to place orders and will help make sure those orders are accurately prepared and fulfilled. What You'll Do Answer inbound customer calls and emails and assist with orders and product questions Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and handle customer transactions Learn Rapid Prep's products and recommend appropriate products and complementary items Help resolve customer questions, returns, delivery issues, and other order concerns Receive incoming inventory, unload deliveries, verify items against purchase orders, and inspect for damage Label, organize, and put inventory in the appropriate warehouse locations Count inventory and maintain accurate records using computer software Pack and load shipments for LTL carriers, UPS, and customer pickups Operate forklifts and other shop equipment Maintain clean and organized warehouse and counter areas Assist with other warehouse and shop responsibilities as needed What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Comfortable interacting with customers by phone, email, and in person Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday on first shift Ability to lift 50+ lbs. when needed Ability to operate a forklift and shop equipment, or willingness to learn Comfortable using a computer for order entry and inventory records Able to read and write English Dependable, organized, and able to balance customer needs with warehouse responsibilities Rapid Prep is willing to train someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and desire to learn the surface preparation industry. Compensation $22-$25/hour, depending on experience Commission opportunity available after completing training This could be a great fit for someone with experience in inside sales, customer service, counter sales, industrial supplies, construction supplies, equipment rental, parts sales, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations who enjoys a role with variety.
