Inventory Control Clerk

Description

As an Inventory Control Clerk, you'll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by receiving, storing, and distributing products throughout the warehouse. You'll accurately move inventory using both manual equipment and warehouse systems, ensuring products are properly tracked and organized. This role requires attention to detail when verifying product quantities, matching inventory to paperwork or scanner data, and resolving discrepancies. You'll also inspect incoming shipments for shortages or damage while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment by following all safety guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

An ability to perform and understand warehouse operations.

An ability to work independently, demonstrate analytical thinking including mathematic skills and the ability to solve problems.

An ability to work on a computer using Windows including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel and ability to learn/understand WMS systems.

An ability to communicate and collaborate with all members of the team, at all levels to ensure successful customer outcomes.

An inclusive approach with your colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and foster collaboration to resolve issues.

An ability and a willingness to perform basic housekeeping in assigned areas of warehouse.

An ability to adopt our safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices.

Must wear safety composite work shoes.

Ability to walk and stand 100% of the time.

Ability to work Monday-Friday (or Saturday varies by location), some weekends and holidays will be required based on business needs. Flexible schedules may be available.

Ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds.

Ability to make independent decisions within well-defined guidelines.

Must be a team player with good communication skills, both orally and in writing.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.

HS Diploma or GED

Able to Lift 75 pounds

Drug Test

Must be at least 18 years old

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $20.20 - $27.87 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
