In this vital role, you will oversee inventory accuracy, manage warehouse operations, and ensure seamless stock control processes. Your expertise will support efficient procurement, order fulfillment, and materials handling, contributing to the overall success of our supply chain management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your analytical skills, technical proficiency, and warehouse experience to optimize inventory systems and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records through regular data collection, analysis, and reconciliation using warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms such as BASIS. Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies, stock shortages, or excesses, implementing process improvements for inventory control. Collaborate with procurement and sourcing teams to support category management and negotiate supplier contracts for optimal pricing and supply chain efficiency. Utilize data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau to generate reports on inventory trends, logistics performance, and demand planning insights. Manage warehouse operations including stocking, materials handling, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels. Perform regular cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories to maintain inventory accuracy across multiple locations. Support logistics inventory management by coordinating with providers, managing transportation schedules, and overseeing shipping documentation. Qualifications Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution, inventory management software, and warehouse operations. Demonstrated skills in data mining, analytics, Excel data analysis, and supply chain analytics to inform decision-making. Technical proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), and data visualization tools like BASIS. Experience with procurement processes including sourcing, pricing negotiations, contracts management, and materials handling. Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively within a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary and familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts (certification preferred). Strong cross-functional communication skills to collaborate with procurement, logistics, merchandising teams, and suppliers effectively.
