Part-Time Floor Associate Rusty Pickins Thrift Warehouse Sherman, TX $15-$18 an hour | Part-time Rusty Pickins Thrift Warehouse is hiring four part-time Floor Associates for our new thrift warehouse in Sherman. This is a hands-on, physical job for someone who enjoys variety, works well independently, and doesn't mind getting dirty. Our inventory comes from storage units, estates and private collections, so you never know what you're going to unpack next. Open Positions 2 Weekend Positions Saturday (8 am-2 pm) and Sunday (9 am-2 pm) 2 Weekday + Weekend Positions Saturday and Sunday plus 2-3 weekdays, typically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as needed (10 am-4 pm) Weekend availability is required for all positions. What You'll Do Sort and organize incoming inventory Stock and organize the warehouse floor Clean merchandise Assist customers during open warehouse hours Rotate through customer check-in and other floor responsibilities Help move furniture and other inventory using appropriate equipment Load and unload inventory Occasionally travel off-site to assist with inventory pickups Help keep the warehouse organized and clean This Job Is Physical This is not a pristine retail environment. Inventory may be dusty or dirty when it arrives.

You must be able to:

Stand, walk, bend and move throughout your shift Repeatedly lift and carry up to 40 lbs. Work around dirty and secondhand merchandise Load, unload and move inventory Work both independently and as part of a small team What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual Reliable transportation Comfortable working independently without constant supervision Able to follow sorting and inventory guidelines Good judgment and attention to detail Comfortable interacting with customers Willing to learn about vintage, collectible and unusual merchandise Able to work in a fast-moving environment where every day is different Knowledge of vintage merchandise, collectibles, tools, electronics or resale is helpful, but not required. Curiosity and willingness to learn matter.

Pay:
